ADCI – Who We Are

ADCI’s principle goal is TO SERVE OUR CLIENTS BY PROVIDING A HIGH LEVEL OF EXPERTISE WITH THE “SOUL” OF A SMALL COMPANY. Clients are the reason ADCI was created in 2006; and, those customer needs and goals fuel our company engine today. Our aim is to listen first, and then design and develop solutions to meet the complex problems that exist in today’s airport environments. ONE OF OUR PRINICIPALS WILL LEAD ANY PROJECT OF WHICH WE ARE PART. Our solutions are developed with significant consideration toward constructability, efficiency, and long-term viability. While our intent and desire are to meet our client’s needs while ADCI grows, our aim is to achieve this without sacrifice or compromise of quality or economy of services.  As a result, our Principals participate in every project and use this philosophy as the mantra for the development of our company. Cedrick Johnson is a Professional Engineer (PE) and serves as President.  A co-founder of ADCI and licensed in ten states, his forte is integrating major facility projects into complex environments at medium and large hub airports. Cedrick brings a unique talent to building consensus among stakeholders during construction phasing of airfield and terminal project elements. He focuses on programmatically understanding airport and client needs, while managing planning and design projects. His approach thereby achieves the client’s goals without costly disruption to the airport’s operation. Cedrick obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and has been providing consulting engineering services in the airport industry for nearly two decades.   Mahesh Kukata, PE is a co-founder of ADCI, and serves as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Licensed in four states, he focuses on expedited design solutions for a comprehensive range of airport improvements. He has earned a reputation for aggressively pursuing his clients’ interests in delivering fast track airfield, terminal and support facilities improvements. He also leads ADCI’s construction management group with an emphasis on bringing quality assurance to projects of various sizes and leads ADCI’s specialty services for grant management, NAVAID design, land acquisition and FAA compliance issues.  Mahesh obtained his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University, and has been providing consulting engineering services in the Airport Industry for two decades.   Steve Lucchesi, PE, is a co-founder of ADCI, and serves as Vice President and Director of Business Strategy and Marketing. Licensed in three states, he applies his creative and technical background toward leading the quality control and assurance practices for the ADCI team. Understanding the dynamic airport environment that encompasses an extensive spectrum of airside, terminal and landside projects is Steve’s expertise. His three decades of experience and work history provide this unique insight and make him the perfect lead for program management assignments for the company. He obtained both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.   ADCI STAFF Our technical staff consists of over thirty design professionals with a strong reputation for delivering innovative solutions to airport challenges. Two senior professionals – Keith Fritz and Joe Wenck – were part of the ADCI founding group and today lead our growing “in-house” team. Their combined thirty years experience is pure design/production of aviation projects from all airfield and facility types. Along with the three principals, they enforce the company’s philosophy ADCI is certified as a Small Business (SB) by the state of Maryland, a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Federal government and the states of Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, Florida, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and South Carolina.
